About the role

Sydney Reliance Plumbing is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Plumber to join our team in Sydney NSW - Eastern Suburbs. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and servicing plumbing systems for our valued clients across the Sydney region. As a Maintenance Plumber, you will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal performance of plumbing installations.

This role is integral to our commitment to delivering high-quality plumbing services and maintaining strong customer relationships through reliable, professional workmanship.

What you'll be doing

- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance checks on residential, Strata and commercial plumbing systems
- Identifying and diagnosing plumbing faults, leaks, and system inefficiencies
- Performing repairs and replacements of pipes, fixtures, valves, and other plumbing components
- Servicing water heaters, boilers, and other heating systems
- Clearing blocked drains and sewage lines using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Installing new plumbing fixtures and systems in accordance with relevant building codes and regulations
- Testing plumbing systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Communicating effectively with clients to explain issues, solutions, and costs
- Adhering to health and safety regulations on all job sites

What we're looking for

- Current plumbing licence or certification recognised in New South Wales
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance plumbing or general plumbing work
- Sound knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid driver's licence
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments and positions
- Commitment to health and safety practices on site
