About the Role An exciting opportunity has opened for a Leading Hand Maintenance Fitter to join our high-performing Maintenance Workshop team at Maules Creek. This is a day-shift only role, working Monday to Friday, offering a great work-life balance.
We have an ultra-class fleet of mining equipment including CAT and Hitachi machinery.
In this hands-on leadership position, you’ll play a key role in guiding and mentoring a team of fitters, driving safety, quality, and efficiency across workshop operations. It’s the perfect prospect for someone looking to step into a leadership role or further develop their frontline leadership capability
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach and support a team of fitters, setting the standard for safety, performance and attitude
- Execute planned, breakdown and corrective maintenance to keep the workshop running at its best
- Champion a strong safety culture by reporting and managing hazards, incidents and risks
- Proactively inspect equipment, identify defects and raise quality job requests
- Step up to supervise during shutdowns, ensuring work is delive
