Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) is a well-established Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation that has been supporting the Broome community for over 40 years.

Headquartered in Broome, Western Australia, BRAMS provides holistic, culturally secure primary healthcare, aged care, and community programs to Aboriginal people throughout the Kimberley region.

BRAMS is looking for a full-time Male Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Case Worker based in Broome, WA. Reporting to the Community Wellbeing Programs Manager, this role will provide culturally safe, person-centred support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men, their families and communities.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Provide case management, including holistic assessments, goals-centred case plans, counselling and therapeutic support.
- Deliver consistent outreach support to men and families, including those with complex care needs, and maintain comprehensive consumer records.
- Plan, facilitate and evaluate men's groups that promote healing, resilience, coping strategies and cultural identity.
- Deliver community education that promotes SEWB, mental health awareness and help-seeking behaviours, and reduces stigma.
- Build strong relationships with internal programs and external services, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case conferences and sector networks.

What You Bring - Skills That Make a Difference To qualify, you must identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander male, with strong cultural knowledge and understanding of men's roles and responsibilities. You will also hold a Certificate or Diploma in Community Services, Mental Health,



Counselling or a related field, or equivalent experience, or a willingness to obtain. Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

- Experience in case planning, counselling, group facilitation and community education.
- Knowledge of social and emotional wellbeing, trauma and holistic approaches to care.
- Experience working in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service.
- Knowledge of Kimberley communities and local service networks.
