Male Disability Support Worker (NDIS) – West Gladstone, QLD

Position: Part time | Casual | Full-time

Salary: From $34.03 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Male Disability Support Workers to join our team in West Gladstone. In this role, you will provide person-centred support to NDIS participants, assisting with daily living, personal care, and community participation.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care (showering, grooming, toileting)
- Assist with daily living tasks (meal preparation, cleaning, household duties)
- Support community access, appointments, and social activities
- Administer medication (if trained and authorised)
- Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation
- Follow individual care plans and behaviour support strategies
- Promote independence, dignity, and participant choice

Requirements (Must Have)
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- Current Car Registration & Insurance




- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Infection Control Certificate
- Full working rights in Australia

Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent
- Experience working with people with disabilities
- Manual handling training
- Experience supporting participants with challenging behaviours
- Experience supporting participants with mental health conditions
