Our client, a leading construction company is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team on an initial 12 month FTC with the potential to go perm.

This is a hands on role suited to someone with a solid background in financial and management accounting who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and contributing to the overall financial performance of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business decision making.
- Monitor and manage cash flow across the business.
- Analyse costs and profitability to identify opportunities for improved financial performance.
- Oversee payroll processes and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and employment obligations.
- Support revenue reporting,



invoicing and financial administration where required.
- Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with taxation, statutory and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Experience

- Construction experience high advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
- Previous experience in a financial or management accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
