Purpose of the Position The Manager’s primary role is to support the Regional Manager to implement and continuously improve structured, best practice service delivery that systematically engages families in resolving challenges and improving wellbeing and safety of children.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Achieving team and service delivery performance objectives including client satisfaction
- Ensure quality assurance processes are embedded in service delivery and lead complaint resolution
- Contribute to reporting, business plans and promotional activity
- Be accountable for achieving key performance indicators, including indicators that support service delivery and CQID strategic and operational plans
- Lead and monitor the recruitment, performance, development and wellbeing of staff members
- Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with government departments, external stakeholders, service providers and community




- Represent CQID at relevant designated external meetings and forums
- Be accountable for achieving key performance indicators, including indicators that support service delivery and CQID strategic and operational activity
- Participate in and contribute to the organisation’s compliance obligations under the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and Human Services Quality Standards (HSQS)
- At all times work within CQID’s Workplace Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
- Other responsibilities as directed by the Chief Services Officer

Qualifications and Experience To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate capability in the following areas:

Essential

- Holds a current C Class Queensland Driver’s Licence
- Current Working with Children Check, Blue Card’
- Holds or is willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR Certificate

Desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Services and/or Management
- Qualifications or knowledge related to Child Protection
- Extensive experience at successfully leading and developing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people

Skills and Attributes

Essential

- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage – [Note: Non-Indigenous applicant will only be considered if no suitable candidates are attracted in the first round of applicants]
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software
- Physical ability to undertake job responsibilities
- Ability to communicate effectively; spoken and written
- Self-starter, motivates and able to self-manage work tasks
- Strong connection to and knowledge of local Indigenous Community
