We are an ophthalmology practice in Warrnambool, that provides a supportive and respectful working environment while we care for our patients, many of whom are elderly. We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and proactive individual to join our team as a Clinic Assistant.

This role is a regular 2 days per fortnight to start (Friday and following Monday), with opportunity for more days as the clinic expands.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and help to ensure a smooth patient flow
- Performing basic clinical tests and imaging
- Working closely with and assisting the Ophthalmic procedures
- Assisting with general office duties and administrative tasks
- Providing a high level of customer service at all times

Qualifications & expectations

- The successful candidate will need to display high motivation and be proactive and eager to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently after training.




- Experience in a clinical setting is preferred but is not a requirement, as all training will be provided on site.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- A high level of commitment to the role and a proactive attitude.
- A strong team player who works well with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
