- Location: Parramatta. Flexible and hybrid working options available.
- Clerk Grade: Level 7/8. Base salary $116,981 p.a. to $129,492 p.a. plus 12% superannuation and annual leave loading.

The division partners closely with leaders and teams to build capability, strengthen culture and ensure people practices are contemporary, compliant, and aligned to organisational priorities.
About The Role
The Business Partner (Employee Relations) Advisor provides practical,
end to end support to leaders and managers across a broad range of employee relations matters at NSW Trustee and Guardian. Working within the People and Culture team, the role delivers a broad range of employee relations services to divisions, including non‑complex workplace investigations, case management, and industrial and HR advice, to support the effective management of the employee lifecycle.
You will provide timely, evidence based advice on matters including performance, conduct, grievances and industrial relations, and support managers to apply policies, legislation and procedural fairness requirements. The role also contributes to workforce reporting, establishment management and continuous improvement initiatives to help ensure people practices are consistent, compliant and aligned to organisational priorities.

About You
You are an experienced HR professional with strong employee relations capability and the confidence to provide clear, practical advice to leaders and managers. You exercise sound judgement when managing sensitive matters, understand when to elevate risk, and apply a consistent, fair and compliant approach.
You are comfortable managing Employee Relations casework endtoend, preparing clear documentation, and interpreting policies, legislation and industrial instruments. You build effective working relationships and can balance competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
You Have
- Experience managing employee relations matters such as performance, conduct and grievances
- Strong judgement and the ability to assess risk and determine when to elevate
- The ability to apply policies,
legislation and industrial instruments in a practical way
- Experience preparing clear, accurate documentation (e.g. correspondence, briefs, file notes)
- Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
Essential Requirements
- Qualifications in Human Resources and/or demonstrated experience in employee relations, including performance, conduct and grievance management
- Sound understanding of relevant legislation, industrial instruments and HR policies
- A current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel as required
