HL Landscapes is seeking a reliable and motivated Landscape Maintenance Team Leader to join our team. This role suits someone who takes pride in their work, leads from the front, and can be trusted to run jobs independently while maintaining a high standard of presentation and reporting.
The Role
You will be responsible for supervising and carrying out landscape maintenance works across a range of commercial and infrastructure sites. A company vehicle will be supplied for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out and supervise landscape maintenance works to a high standard
- Work autonomously and manage daily tasks without close supervision
- Complete site reports and records using an app-based reporting system
- Maintain explicit communication with clients and represent HL Landscapes professionally
- Plan and manage time effectively to meet programmed works
- Identify issues on site and address them proactively
- Ensure plant and equipment are operated safely and maintained appropriately
About You
To be considered, you should have:
- Previous experience in a landscape maintenance or similar role, ideally with some supervisory responsibility
- A strong work ethic and reliability
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and pride in finished work
- Confidence communicating with clients and team members
- Ability to use mobile apps and basic digital reporting tools
- White Card (essential)
- Chemical application certification (AQF3 or similar) where required
- Certificate III in Parks and Gardens – advantageous but not essential
- Truck licence – advantageous but not essential
- Current driver’s licence
