About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager and strategic leader to drive the operations of the Office of the Director General (ODG) and provide critical support and advice to the Director General in delivering the Department's objectives.

As Manager, ODG, you will:

- Lead a small team responsible for providing high-level executive support, ministerial liaison, corporate reporting and strategic project delivery.
- Work closely with the Corporate Executive and senior leaders to coordinate complex and high-profile activities.
- Shape and lead the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives across the Department.
- Provide advice and support to the effective management of departmental priorities.
- Build productive relationships with senior stakeholders across government and industry.
- Provide high-level advice on complex and sensitive issues.

To be successful, you will be a highly organised and adaptable leader with experience coordinating strategic initiatives and multifaceted projects in a large or complex organisation. You will be comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information, thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt confidently to change.
