- Salary ranges from $154,231.00 to $178,369.00 + super & leave loading

About the Role As Manager Regions , you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Future Jobs and Investment Authority to deliver economic and workforce transition outcomes across NSW coal-producing regions.

Leading a high-performing team within NSW Resources, you will drive the development and implementation of Local Economic Structural Adjustment Plans, identify regional priorities and deliver strategic initiatives that create lasting perks for communities, industries and workers. This is a unique opportunity to influence policy, investment and regional development outcomes at a time of significant transformation.

Working closely with industry, community groups, unions and government partners, you will foster collaboration, navigate complex stakeholder environments and help shape sustainable futures for regional communities. Your leadership will be instrumental in identifying opportunities, addressing emerging challenges and delivering practical solutions that support resilient regional economies and future-focused jobs

About You

You bring strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, sound judgement and the ability to lead complex projects that deliver meaningful results in dynamic and sensitive environments.

As our ideal candidate, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience leading strategic projects, programs or initiatives that support regional economic development and workforce transition outcomes
- Proven ability to engage, influence and build trusted relationships with government, industry, community and union stakeholders
- Experience developing and implementing communication and engagement strategies to support consultation and informed decision making
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and coordinating the delivery of complex projects and competing priorities
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex and politically sensitive issues

Essential Requirements

- Tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated professional experience in business, economics or related fields.
- Compliance with pre-employment probity screening is mandatory and a condition of engagement.
