About this role

What you'll do

As the Manager, RTO and Compliance, you will lead the delivery of high-quality, compliant vocational education and training services across Queensland Health. You will oversee RTO operations to ensure alignment with national standards, legislative obligations, and regulatory requirements, while driving quality assurance, continuous improvement, and internal audit activities. The role is responsible for managing compliance reporting, training and assessment strategies, validation processes, and learning resources, as well as providing expert advice to senior leaders on compliance, quality, and capability development opportunities.

You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, foster a culture of quality, accountability, and collaboration, and lead, coach, and support a high-performing team. Working closely with colleagues across the Centre for Learning and Education,



you will also stay informed of sector trends, policy developments, and emerging innovations to support the development of contemporary and effective learning programs.

About you

We are searching for someone who has:

- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing RTO operations or vocational education compliance functions within a complex organisation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of VET regulatory frameworks, quality assurance systems, and audit or risk management processes.
- Proven capability in stakeholder engagement, influencing, and communication, with experience developing and maintaining productive partnerships across government, industry, or training sectors.
- Solid analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to interpret data, develop policies and procedures, and deliver outcomes aligned with strategic priorities.
