The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Manager or Senior Manager to join our Forensic team in Sydney. This role offers the opportunity to build your profile in a specialist expert witness and disputes practice, working on complex, high-value matters alongside respected industry practitioners. You will be exposed to a diverse range of engagements, have the autonomy to take ownership of significant client work, and play a key role in the continued growth and success of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead expert witness, forensic accounting and disputes advisory engagements
- Prepare and review expert reports, financial analyses, valuations and financial models
- Manage client, legal adviser and other stakeholder relationships throughout engagements
- Analysis of commercial issues for expert witness with a focus on valuation, corporate finance, loss analysis and diligence
- Lead,
coach and develop junior team members
- Support business development and contribute to the growth of the practice
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships through exceptional client service and technical expertise.
About You
- CA, CPA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification
- Significant experience in forensic accounting, disputes advisory, valuations, transaction services or a related advisory environment
- Strong accounting, financial analysis and financial modelling capabilities
- Excellent report writing and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
- Proven experience leading engagements, managing client relationships and mentoring team members
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to exercise sound judgement in complex and sensitive matters.
