Workforce Health Assessors (WHA) is one of Australia and New Zealand's leading occupational health providers. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Manager, Technology and Cyber Security to lead the technology environment that underpins our operations.
Supporting the WHA Group, this is a hands-on leadership role where you will influence technology strategy, strengthen and maintain cybersecurity controls, lead key projects, support a growing workforce, and ensure our systems continue to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients, candidates and employees.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering WHA's technology roadmap.
About the Role
This is a diverse and rewarding position for a technology professional who enjoys balancing strategic planning with operational delivery.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing the WHA Group’s ICT strategy and technology roadmap.
- Providing technical leadership across the WHA Group.
- Leading cybersecurity initiatives and maintaining a secure technology environment.
- Managing Microsoft 365, Azure, server infrastructure and enterprise systems.
- Oversee help desk functions; providing day-to-day support as required.
- Overseeing cloud services, applications, telecommunications and business-critical technology platforms.
- Driving technology projects from concept through to implementation.
- Supporting the integration and optimisation of medical technologies and business systems.
- Managing relationships with external technology providers and vendors; ensuring essential commercial outcomes and services.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, user experience and business performance through technology.
About You You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
You will bring
- Experience leading IT infrastructure and enterprise systems environments.
- Robust Microsoft 365, Azure and cloud technology experience.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management and data protection.
- Experience delivering technology projects and managing competing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A commercial mindset, with the ability to align technology solutions with business needs.
- Experience working with vendors, managed service providers and software partners.
- Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
