Roles: Maritime & Coastal Engineers The Opportunity

We are seeking Maritime & Coastal Engineers to join a leading international engineering consultancy. Known for technical excellence and a focus on sustainable infrastructure, this firm provides a platform to work on some of the world’s most complex waterfront and port developments.

What You Will Do

Depending on your specific experience and interest, you'll be working within a specialist maritime / coastal team, you will contribute to the lifecycle of major infrastructure projects—from initial feasibility and master planning to detailed design and construction oversight.

- Technical Design: Develop robust designs for maritime structures including ports, harbours, quay walls, wharves, jetties, piers, pontoons, breakwaters,
- Coastal Engineering: Support coastal protection and flood resilience projects through hydraulic assessments, wave modelling interpretation, and scour protection design.
- Project Delivery: Author technical reports, design calculations, and specifications in accordance with international maritime standards (e.g., BS6349, PIANC).
- Innovation:



Apply digital engineering tools and sustainable design principles to future-proof maritime assets against climate change.
- Collaboration: Work alongside multi-disciplinary teams (environmental, geotechnical, and structural) to deliver integrated solutions for global clients.

What You’ll Bring

- Education: A degree in Civil, Structural, or Coastal Engineering (Chartered status or working towards it is highly regarded).
- Experience: Proven track record in the design and analysis of port, shipyard, or coastal infrastructure.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural analysis software and an understanding of the maritime workplace’s unique loading conditions.
- Mindset: A proactive problem-solver who enjoys technical challenges and thrives in a collaborative, international project environment.
