Our client is a busy steel galvanising company seeking reliable and hardworking Labourers / Yard Workers / General Hands to join the team. Multiple positions are on offer.
This is a hands-on role working in a yard and production environment, assisting with the handling and preparation of steel products. Do you have a Forklift Licence? While not necessary, it is a definite bonus!
What’s on offer
- $33.05 per hour + Super - paid weekly.
- Monday-Friday, 5:00am to 1:00pm
- Potential for long-term placement.
- Immediate start available.
Duties include:
- Loading and unloading steel products
- General yard duties and housekeeping
- Assisting production staff
- Preparing steel for galvanising
- Operating basic tools and equipment
- Following workplace safety procedures
To be successful you will have:
- Previous labouring, yard,
or factory experience
- A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
