Enjoy a 9 day fortnight and get every second Friday off while enjoying what you do. The Lead Carpenter/Supervisor will oversee residential Building projects from start to finish, from site setup & establishment all the way through to final site tidy & handover. Build relationships with clients and participate in weekly site visits to talk through any job details, variations, changes to timelines etc. Meet schedule deadlines of key progress claims. Carry out works to an extremely high standard around Brisbane, QLD.

What we're looking for:

- A certificate 3 qualified carpenter or a QBCC licensed carpenter/supervisor
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
- Robust communication and interpersonal abilities
- A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
- Forward thinking for future trades & tasks
- Weekly updates on progress and job goals
- Manage sub trades & verify details to minimise mistakes and rework
- Manage and supervise apprentices & carpenters safely & efficiently;
- Address everyone who steps foot onsite, identify yourself as the one in charge, ensuring you know who’s doing what, when where and how.

Tools you should have for this role:

- Standard carpentry tools (saws, drill drive, hand tools, various drill bits etc)
- Roof & wall cladding tools(snips, Pop rivet etc)
- Ladders
- Some digging equipment(shovel and bar at a minimum)
- Drop saw & bench
- Compressor & air guns;
- Roof rack to be able to carry 6m lengths of mouldings & framing from time to time.
