PART TIME BARISTA/FRONT OF HOUSE ALL ROUNDER

Ticktok Cafe is seeking a Part Time Barista/Front of House All Rounder to join our welcoming team in Williamstown, VIC 3016. This is a part-time position that offers the perfect opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality environment. In this role, you will be the face of our cafe, delivering exceptional customer service across all front-of-house operations. You must have coffee making experience. You will work flexibly around your schedule, supporting the team during peak and quieter service periods. This position is integral to creating a memorable experience for our guests and maintaining the high standards Ticktok Cafe is known for.

What you'll be doing

Greeting guests with a warm welcome and seating them promptly and appropriately

Making coffee and hot drinks.

Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when appropriate

Serving meals and drinks with attention to detail and professional presentation

Clearing tables promptly and maintaining a clean, organised dining area throughout service

Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system to process payments and manage transactions

Managing reservations and responding to customer enquiries via phone or in person

Maintaining knowledge of menu items, specials, and dietary requirements to assist guests

Restocking supplies and setting up for service periods

Supporting the team with general cafe duties as needed to ensure smooth operations

What we're looking for

Previous experience in hospitality, making coffee, waiting staff, or front-of-house roles (preferably in a cafe or restaurant environment)





Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact positively with diverse customers and team members

Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and peak times

Basic POS system knowledge or willingness to learn quickly

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry items safely

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

A genuine passion for hospitality and creating positive guest experiences
