Sydney CBD | 12-Month Contract | 4 days in office, 1 day from home

We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer with solid C++ design and development experience

What You'll Be Doing

- Design, develop and implement high-quality player-facing features using C++
- Build intuitive UI/UX systems including game screens, events and around-game experiences
- Collaborate closely with Designers, Artists, Producers and QA to deliver engaging features
- Integrate frontend experiences with backend services and game systems
- Contribute to technical design, architecture and engineering best practices
- Participate in code reviews and help maintain high standards of code quality and maintainability
- Work across different parts of the technology stack as required, from client UI to backend integrations
- Contribute ideas to improve development workflows, including opportunities to leverage AI in engineering processes





What We're Looking For

- Strong C++ development experience working on large, complex codebases
- Ideally engineering experience within game development or hardcore gamer.
- Experience building UI/UX systems
- Understanding of distributed systems and backend service integration
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- A generalist mindset with the ability to contribute across client, gameplay and backend technologies

Highly Regarded

- Experience working with design tools and implementing UI from Figma or similar workflows
- Passion for games and an understanding of what creates great player experiences
