About the role…

As a Group Reservations Agent, you will be the primary point of contact for coordinating, managing, and executing group bookings—from corporate conferences and weddings to tour groups and special events. You’ll ensure every detail is handled with precision, delivering a flawless experience from inquiry through to arrival.

In this role you need to be organised, efficient, and enjoy building relations with internal and external stakeholders.

You will be the first point of contact all accommodation needs for our Conference and Events accommodation groups and your will duties will include but are not limited to:

- Manage and coordinate group reservations from initial enquiry through to departure
- Liaise with sales, front office, and events teams to ensure smooth execution
- Input and maintain accurate booking data in reservation systems
- Monitor room allocations, rates, contracts, and cut-off dates
- Prepare rooming lists, reports, and group arrivals
- Handle special requests, changes, and last-minute adjustments professionally
- Deliver excellent customer service to clients, agents, and internal stakeholders

About you…

Permanent residency or unlimited work rights in Australia.

Previous experience in a similar role, in a high volume hotel, 200+ rooms.

Proven experience with PMS: Opera or Opera cloud





Exceptional customer service skills, communication and time management skills.

Strong Microsoft office skills and an excel expert.

A friendly and warm personality with immaculate grooming and presentation.

Ability to work unsupervised, enjoy working in a busy team environment, yet can work autonomously.

A willingness to use initiative and strong problem solving skills, armed with smart solutions and a can-do-attitude.

Possess a proactive and resourceful approach with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Self-motivated, driven and able to work in a fast paced environment.

The ability to work on a rotating roster, varying shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.

Excellence in your field and the demonstrated ability to act as a true ambassador for our Hotel.
