Calala Inn is seeking a Front of House Attendant to join our hospitality team on a casual basis. Based in Tamworth NSW 2340, this role is central to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the high standards our establishment is known for. As a Front of House Attendant, you will be greeting guests, maintaining the cleanliness of dining areas, running meals & clearing tables, and ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to outstanding service and hospitality.

What you'll be doing:

- *This position offers 25 to 30 hours per week*
- Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and seating them in accordance with the restaurant management's procedures
- Clearing tables efficiently and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area
- Responding to guest requests and complaints with courtesy and professionalism, escalating issues where necessary
- Assisting with table setup and preparation before service begins
- Processing payments and operating the point-of-sale system accurately, when required.
- Following food safety and hygiene protocols at all times
- Supporting the broader hospitality team to ensure smooth operations during service

What we’re looking for:

- Previous experience in waiting or front of house hospitality roles, or demonstrated commitment to developing hospitality skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly, professional manner




- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tables or tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility and reliability, with a willingness to work varied hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Knowledge of food safety practices and willingness to adhere to hygiene standards
