Support Worker - Non-Direct Care

Remuneration: $27.77 per hour + penalties + superannuation

Employment: Casual roles available

Shifts: Available across morning, afternoon and evening rosters.

McLean Care is currently seeking reliable, caring and team-focused Support Workers - Non-Direct Care to join our Residential Aged Care team in Millmerran, QLD. This is a rewarding opportunity to support the daily operations of our aged care home through hospitality, food services, cleaning and general support duties.

About the role

As a Support Worker in a Non-Direct Care, you will help maintain a safe, clean, welcoming and well-supported setting for residents, visitors and staff.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Assist with meal preparation, plating and serving, ensuring food is presented to a consistently high standard.
- Clean and sanitise shared areas to create a safe,



comfortable and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
- Support the delivery of laundry services, maintaining a high standard of care and presentation.
- Help maintain a clean, hygienic and safe environment for residents.
- Work collaboratively with the team to support the daily needs and wellbeing of residents within the aged care home.

Available Shifts May Include:

- 0600–1400
- 0600–1430
- 0700–1500
- 1100–1800
- 1300–1900

About you

To be successful, you will bring:

- Hospitality experience or similar.
- A friendly, respectful and compassionate approach when supporting residents, families and colleagues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Reliability, a positive attitude and the physical capability to perform the duties of the role.
- A flexible approach and willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Basic computer literacy to complete simple administrative tasks and workplace documentation.

Eligibility

- Be currently residing in Australia with full working rights (please note that sponsorship is not available for this position).
- Be willing to undertake a National Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check in accordance with the Aged Care Act 1997.
