Marketing and Communications Manager, Pre-Opening Luxury Hotel The EQ Hotel – Perth, WA The EQ Hotel is seeking an experienced and creative Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team ahead of the opening of Perth’s newest luxury hotel.

About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and motivated Marketing and Communications Manager to bring our brand to life across digital, social and on-site experiences.

In this hands-on role, you’ll manage and grow our social media presence, create engaging content, and support marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement and revenue across our hospitality offerings.

Working closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will lead the development and delivery of marketing activities for The EQ Hotel and its food and beverage outlets.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and deliver the hotel’s pre-opening marketing plan and launch campaign.

- Establish and maintain the hotel’s brand positioning across digital, trade and media channels.

- Manage the hotel’s website, digital marketing channels and social media presence.

- Create engaging content that reflects the hotel’s brand, voice and visual identity.

- Plan and coordinate media previews, PR activities, press events and the official hotel l

- Develop relationships and partnerships with media, tourism bodies, influencers, local businesses and industry partners.

- Create branded marketing materials for the hotel and its food and beverage outlets.

- Ensure all online content, images and information are accurate, current and consistent.

- Plan and promote key events, seasonal campaigns and important commercial periods.





- Monitor marketing performance and identify new opportunities across target markets.

- Manage the marketing budget with accuracy and accountability.

- Prepare regular reports on marketing activities, campaign results and overall performance.

About You

- Proven experience in a marketing or communications role, ideally within luxury hospitality.

- Robust experience in digital marketing, social media, content creation and brand management.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Creative, organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

- Strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach.

- Experience managing PR, media, influencer and industry relationships.

- Confident working independently in a fast-paced, pre-opening environment.
