Every week, this brand launches new product. Every launch needs marketing around it: the email out, the site updated, the socials live, the store briefed, the ads aligned. Someone has to make all of that happen, on time, every time, without dropping a thing.
That someone is this role.
We're working with a growing Australian ecommerce fashion brand selling direct to a fiercely loyal customer base. This financial year is set to be their biggest yet. They're launching new brands, they've just appointed a current performance marketing agency, and the marketing team has been rebuilt over the past year under a manager the whole business rates. The team is genuinely humming, and this seat sits right in the middle of it.
The job in a sentence: you're the glue. You own the campaign calendar and run every campaign end to end.
Take a sale. You'd work with the merchandise planner on what's going in, brief the content team on banners and hero products, tell the warehouse what's moving, brief the store on how to merchandise it, and feed the performance agency the dates, the products and the depth. Then you'd make sure the emails go out, the site is right, and everything lands together.
Day to day you'd be across:
- Owning the campaign calendar and running every campaign, weekly new releases, sales, seasonal moments and the big trading events
- Briefing and coordinating the content team, merchandise planner, warehouse, store and external agencies
- Managing the email process end to end, preparing products, chasing copy, loading and sending through Klaviyo
- Onsite merchandising, keeping the homepage and collection pages sharp, in stock and converting
- Creating and managing discount codes and campaign content across every channel
- Reporting on how campaigns, products and stock performed, and what to do better
What makes it a good move: the impact is visible. There's an email database of over 400,000 people, so what you send moves real revenue, and you'll see it.
The business is lean and flat, the founder knows everyone by name, and good ideas get heard no matter whose they are. You're not a cog in a marketing machine here. You're the person who makes the whole thing run.
This suits a marketing or ecommerce generalist a few years in, someone who knows their way around Klaviyo and Shopify, has touched email, site and campaigns, and whose real strength is organisation.
The person who chases five teams at once without making enemies, catches the typo before it goes live, and gets a genuine kick out of launch day. You don't need to be an email specialist or a performance marketer, the strategy and the templates are handled. You need to be the go-getter who pulls it all together.
