Role Overview We are looking for a Marketing Lead to join Nine Mile on a part-time basis, ideal for a recent graduate or a final-year student looking to take their first step into the workforce. This is a newly created role that gives someone early in their career the chance to genuinely shape how marketing is done at Nine Mile, while being supported by an experienced team around them. You will take the lead on our external-facing communications and marketing activity – from LinkedIn and newsletters through to events and advertising – while working closely with colleagues across the business who can guide, mentor, and help you build confidence in the role.

There is plenty of room to bring your own ideas, experiment, and grow the scope of the position as you find your feet. This is a great opportunity for someone who is curious, organised, and keen to develop real, hands-on marketing experience across a broad range of channels, within a fast-paced workplace.

Key responsibilities include:



Manage and grow Nine Mile’s presence on LinkedIn and coordinate our newsletters and other e-communications to Issuers, Brokers, industry stakeholders, and staff.

Support the refresh of the company website, liaising directly with our external web developer to implement changes and improvements.

Plan and help run events, including lunch and learns, panel discussions, and key client events.

Coordinate advertising placements, including bookings, artwork, and deadlines.

Monitor SEO performance and website analytics, and provide simple, actionable reporting on what’s working.

Work with colleagues across the business to make sure marketing activity is aligned with what’s happening across the firm.

Bring fresh ideas to the role and help shape how the marketing function develops over time.

What You Will Bring A recent university graduate or currently completing the final year of a degree – marketing, communications, business, or a related field is helpful but not essential.

A genuine interest in marketing, communications, or events, with an eagerness to learn on the job.

Strong written communication skills and good attention to detail.

Comfortable using or quick to learn social media platforms (particularly LinkedIn), email/newsletter tools, and basic analytics dashboards.

Well organised, with the ability to manage a few different projects at once and follow things through to completion.

A proactive, can-do attitude, happy to ask questions, take feedback, and gradually take on more ownership as you settle in.

Available to work part-time in the office, Sydney CBD.
