DCM Executive Recruitment

Sydney

The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Marketing Manager - Brands and Events to drive the execution, optimisation and performance of digital marketing across the DCM Group's brands, campaigns, events and customer journeys.

Working across both B2B and B2C divisions, you will combine campaign planning with practical delivery - from HubSpot automation, EDMs and website updates to analytics, creative production, lead generation and event marketing. This is a full-time, 40-hour role, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm, reporting to the Marketing Director.

Working at DCM Group means joining a passionate, collaborative, fun and purpose-driven team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll have the opportunity to think creatively, build, test and continually improve. We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership and being actively involved, rather than simply working through a task list or passing the work on to others.

About The DCM Group The DCM Group is a specialist media, events and professional development business supporting Australia's retirement living, aged care and seniors housing sectors. Through brands such as The Weekly SOURCE, SATURDAY, the DCM Institute, DCM Executive Recruitment, villages.com.au, agedcare101, Monday Club, and the Good Ageing Festivals, we connect operators, suppliers, sector leaders and consumers through trusted content, events, digital platforms and long-term commercial partnerships.

Why join us?

- Variety and visibility: Work across multiple brands, audiences, campaigns and major events rather than being confined to one channel or product.
- Real ownership: Take campaigns from idea through to launch, measurement and optimisation; bring ideas, challenge briefs constructively and recommend better approaches

What you do

- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies across multiple brands and events.
- Own the day-to-day management of HubSpot CRM and marketing automation, including workflows, nurture journeys, audience segmentation, lead scoring, lifecycle management and reporting.
- Plan, create and optimise email marketing campaigns, newsletters, event communications and automated customer journeys.
- Deliver integrated campaigns across email, websites, social media, paid media, webinars and events to drive audience growth, lead generation, registrations and revenue.
- Manage and optimise WordPress websites, landing pages and digital content, implementing SEO best practice and continually improving user experience and conversion.
- Create compelling digital content and marketing assets, including social media graphics, EDMs, presentations, digital advertising and event collateral using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Build and manage paid digital campaigns across Meta, Google and LinkedIn, monitoring performance and optimising for ROI.
- Analyse campaign performance using HubSpot, Google Analytics and other reporting tools, providing insights and recommendations to improve results.
- Support the marketing of conferences, webinars and festivals through registration campaigns, attendee communications, sponsorship promotion and post-event engagement.
- Collaborate with sales, events, content and design teams to deliver integrated campaigns on time and on brand.

- Identify opportunities to improve marketing systems, processes, customer journeys and campaign performance through continuous optimisation.

What you'll bring

- 5+ years' experience in event marketing, digital marketing, growth marketing, marketing operations or campaign execution.
- Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM and marketing automation platform.
- Experience managing WordPress or another CMS, with a working knowledge of SEO and website conversion optimisation.
- A strong understanding of email marketing, customer journeys, segmentation and marketing automation.
- Demonstrated experience executing integrated multi-channel digital campaigns, supported by strong analytical skills and experience with Google Analytics and campaign reporting.
- Strong design capability using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite, with confidence creating assets within brand guidelines.
- Excellent organisation, project management and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities without losing attention to detail.
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, supported by sound commercial judgement and a willingness to contribute ideas.

Bonus points for

Useful extras include experience in media, publishing, events, education or a rapid-growing entrepreneurial business; lead-generation funnels, webinars or live events; Looker Studio or Power BI; video editing; or knowledge of the retirement living, home care or aged care sectors. Apply now

If you are ready to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and want to make a visible contribution across a growing portfolio of brands and events, we would love to hear from you.
