Godiva Chocolate

Melbourne

Belgium is famous around the world for exceptional chocolate, and at the heart of that story is GODIVA.

Since 1926, GODIVA has grown into one of the world's most recognised premium chocolate brands, with more than 800 stores and a presence in over 180 countries. Since entering the Australian and New Zealand market in 2017, we've continued to grow our retail, wholesale and eCommerce channels, bringing the world's finest Belgian chocolate to Australian customers.

As we continue our next phase of growth, we're looking for an experienced and commercially focused Marketing Manager to lead the marketing function for GODIVA Australia.

This role is ideal for someone who has built and delivered successful retail marketing campaigns, understands premium consumer brands, and knows how to turn great marketing into measurable sales results.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Country Manager, you'll lead the marketing function across Australia, owning the annual marketing strategy and marketing calendar while delivering campaigns that strengthen our brand and drive commercial outcomes.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your time writing strategies that sit on a shelf. We're looking for a strong campaign marketer who can develop commercially successful campaigns and then bring them to life.

Working closely with our Sales, Retail and eCommerce teams, you'll ensure every marketing initiative supports customer acquisition, conversion and revenue growth, while continuing to strengthen the premium GODIVA brand.

Working in a lean, agile business, you'll have the opportunity to influence the direction of the brand while remaining close to the execution.

What You'll Do

- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive revenue across retail, wholesale and eCommerce.

- Own and manage the annual marketing calendar, ensuring key trading periods including Lunar New Year, Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, Christmas,

and IP-led projects are flawlessly planned and executed.

- Partner closely with the Sales team to develop campaigns that support lead generation, customer acquisition and conversion.

- Lead all current product launches and promotional campaigns from concept through to execution.

- Develop retail marketing initiatives that increase foot traffic, customer engagement and sales.

- Oversee social media marketing including paid campaigns.

- Manage PR, events, partnerships and brand activations.

- Manage marketing budgets and external agencies, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and achieve a strong return on investment.

- Analyse campaign performance, customer insights and market trends to continually improve results.

- Lead the day-to-day marketing function while identifying opportunities to grow the GODIVA brand across Australia.

About You

You're an experienced campaign marketer with a proven ability to deliver marketing that drives commercial outcomes.

You understand retail and consumer behaviour, know how to build campaigns around key trading periods, and thrive in fast-paced businesses where marketing has a direct impact on sales.

You'll bring

- 5 years' experience in marketing, ideally within retail, food, FMCG, gifting or premium consumer brands.

- A proven track record of developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that generate revenue and measurable commercial outcomes.

- Strong experience marketing consumer products within a retail environment.

- Experience partnering closely with Sales and Commercial teams to drive customer acquisition, conversion and revenue growth.

- Experience leading seasonal retail campaigns and new product launches.

- Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM, eCommerce and customer lifecycle marketing.

- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

- Experience managing marketing budgets, agencies and external suppliers.

- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse campaign performance and optimise return on investment.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- A hands-on approach with the confidence to both develop strategy and execute it.

Experience marketing premium food, gifting, retail or FMCG brands will be highly regarded.

Why Join GODIVA?

This is an opportunity to lead the marketing function for one of the world's most iconic premium chocolate brands while working in a collaborative Australian business with an entrepreneurial mindset.

You'll enjoy

- Annual bonus program.

- Health & Wellbeing support.

- Generous staff discounts on GODIVA products.

- A hybrid working model, with three days in the office and two days working from home. It's the best of both worlds—regular collaboration and connection with the team, balanced with the flexibility to focus and do your best work.

- Broad exposure across retail, wholesale and eCommerce.

- The opportunity to shape the future growth of an internationally recognised premium brand.

If you're a commercially driven marketer who loves building campaigns that deliver real business results and wants to make a genuine impact with one of the world's most iconic premium chocolate brands, we'd love to hear from you.

Submit your resume and a cover letter telling us why you're the right person to help grow GODIVA Australia.
