Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Materials & Logistics Superintendent to join our Engineering Construction division, supporting the delivery of a major mining and minerals project (2:1) in Port Hedland, Western Australia. Reporting to the Construction Manager, this is a key site leadership role responsible for overseeing all materials management, warehousing, logistics, and supply chain activities across a large-scale construction project. The role will ensure the safe, efficient, and timely movement of materials, equipment, and resources to support successful project delivery.

Lead and manage site materials, warehousing, logistics and freight teams to support project delivery

Oversee receipt, storage, preservation, tracking and distribution of project materials and equipment

Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, including transport scheduling and heavy haulage movements

Ensure materials are available to construction teams in line with project schedules and work fronts

Monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock control processes

Drive compliance with project procedures, quality requirements and materials management systems

Coordinate with procurement, construction and subcontractor teams to resolve material shortages and delivery issues

Manage site laydown areas, warehouses and logistics facilities to maximise efficiency and safety

Develop and maintain logistics plans, material forecasts and reporting requirements

Promote a robust safety culture and ensure all logistics activities are undertaken in accordance with HSE requirements

Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, transport providers,



client representatives and project stakeholders What you’ll bring:

Significant experience in a Materials & Logistics Superintendent or similar leadership role on major mining, minerals, oil & gas or infrastructure projects

Strong understanding of construction supply chains, materials management and logistics operations

Proven experience managing warehousing, inventory control and project logistics teams

Experience coordinating heavy haulage, oversized loads and remote site logistics activities

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in a agile project environment

Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills

Sound knowledge of materials management systems and reporting processes

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/materials management platforms

Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and workforce wellbeing

Valid Australian Driver's Licence
