Verdon's Transport require a local MC truck Driver for Full time work or a Casual position.

About the Company

Verdon's Transport is a 60 year old family owned company based in Green Fields SA operating and supplying transport services nationally to the Building and Construction, Mining and Primary production industries throughout Australia.

About The Role The position will require an experienced MC Driver to assist with local pick-ups and deliveries and to assist depot staff with loading of trailers in house when required. Forklift ticket is preferred but not essential; along with Hands on Experience with Dogs and Chains.

Other key requirements are

- Adhere to all State, Federal and company rules and regulations
- Be reliable and punctual
- Experience in 18 speed manual gearboxes is essential
- Be proficient in all aspects of load restraint and axle weights
- Ensure trailers are loaded correctly to comply with regulations
- Show initiative and the ability to work unsupervised
- The ability to understand and follow instructions
- Be physically fit and able to pass Drug and Alcohol testing
- Be presentable, polite and courteous to customers, staff, and work colleagues
- A fork lift ticket is preferred but not essential.
