About the role
We have an exciting prospect for a passionate and driven Assistant Store Manager to join our Michael Kors DFO South Wharf team. This role is perfect for a motivated leader with a flair for clienteling and a love for luxury retail.
Working closely with the Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving business performance while inspiring, developing, and nurturing a high-performing team. You’ll also help ensure the store consistently delivers a world-class brand experience.
This is a full-time role (38 hours per week) on a Tuesday–Saturday roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development:
Support and execute key business strategies to drive sales and store performance
- Team Leadership: Motivate, coach, and develop a passionate team to achieve their full potential
- Clienteling & Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with our loyal clientele
- Customer Relationship Management: Manage the customer database and lead in-store promotional events
- Store Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations including visual merchandising, inventory, and housekeeping to the highest brand standards
Skills and Experience
- 2–4 years’ experience in retail management (premium or luxury experience highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of specialty retail, including visual merchandising, operations, and business development
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Confident computer skills and systems experience
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to foster long-term client connections
