What you’ll be doing
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenanceon plant and equipment with some of the worlds most advanced machinery.
- Attend to breakdowns and safely restore productionin an efficient manner
- Identify and report plant, equipment and safetyissues and contribute to corrective actions
- Support fabrication and modification of equipmentwhere required
- Maintain workshop, tools and equipment in a clean,tidy and safe condition
- Ensure all maintenance work areas are free offoreign objects prior to handover
- Complete maintenance records, registers andassociated documentation
- Work in accordance with site safety, food safetyand operational procedures
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or foodprocessing environment
- Strong mechanical fitting skills includingconveyors, bearings, chains and sprockets
- Competency in MIG, TIG and arc welding; gas andplasma cutting
- Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics
- Ability to read drawings and safely fault‑findequipment
- Experience using lathes and milling machines
- Ability to work independently while contributing toa team‑based environment
- A proactive, safety‑first mindset with strongproblem‑solving skills
