Since taking over the business, we've transformed it into one of the busiest takeaway stores in the region, with a strong focus on quality food, exceptional customer service, and building a workplace where our team genuinely enjoys coming to work.

Short Order Cook / Fryer Cook

The Role

As our Short Cook / Fryer Cook, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen. This is a hands‑on leadership position where you'll be working alongside the team while ensuring every customer receives great food and great service.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Running kitchen service and leading the team during your shift
- Preparing and cooking food to our quality standards
- Managing workflow, ticket times and service efficiency
- Food preparation, stock rotation and waste control




- Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards
- Training and supporting team members

About You

- Has previous experience as a Short Order Cook, Fryer Cook
- Enjoys leading by example and working as part of a team
- Performs well in a busy, high-volume environment
- Takes pride in consistency, cleanliness and quality
- Is reliable, organised and has a positive attitude

Hours

- Casual Postion with opportunity for Full-time position for Right Candidate
- Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
- Flexible rostering where possible to support school and family commitments
- Enjoy a 4-day long weekend every month as part of the roster
