An established engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Mechanical Team Lead to drive the continued growth of its Perth Building Services team. With a strong pipeline of major healthcare projects already underway and a strategic expansion into the rapidly growing data centre sector, this is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of the business.

As Mechanical Team Lead, you will combine technical excellence with people leadership and business development, working closely with senior leadership to grow both the team and client base.

Key responsibilities include

- Leading and mentoring a team of mechanical engineers.
- Providing technical leadership across major building services projects.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
- Winning and delivering new work across healthcare, commercial and mission-critical sectors.
- Supporting recruitment, team development and strategic growth initiatives.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects.

You will ideally have:




- 15-20+ years' experience in Mechanical Building Services consulting.
- Experience leading engineering teams and managing project delivery.
- Strong technical design capability across complex building projects.
- A proven track record in client relationship management and business development.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Australian consulting experience with a strong understanding of local standards.
