About the Role In this hands-on apprenticeship, you'll gain practical experience working on a wide range of packaging equipment while completing your Mechanical Fitter qualification.

Your responsibilities will include

- Servicing and repairing strapping tools and packaging equipment
- Assembling and testing pallet wrapping machines
- Fault finding and diagnosing mechanical issues
- Picking parts and completing workshop picking slips
- Assisting with workshop operations and maintaining equipment
- Learning to safely use a variety of hand and power tools
- Progressing to onsite customer service and equipment repairs as your skills develop
- Delivering excellent customer service when working on client sites

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A genuine interest in mechanics and how things work
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with customers
- A reliable work ethic and commitment to completing your apprenticeship
- A current driver's licence (or the ability to obtain one shortly)
