We’re looking for an experienced Fitter – Level 3 with strong hydraulic experience to join our client’s team in Pakenham, VIC.
This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled fitter who is confident working with hydraulic systems, machinery and mechanical components, with the ability to diagnose and repair issues with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Diagnose hydraulic faults and mechanical issues
- Carry out fitting, assembly and maintenance work
- Read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical drawings
- Inspect, test and troubleshoot hydraulic components
- Use hand and power tools and workshop equipment
- Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs
- Work closely with other trades and production teams
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
About You:
- Previous experience as a Fitter – Level 3
- Strong hydraulic experience is essential
- Valuable understanding of hydraulic systems, components and fault finding
- Able to read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical drawings
- Confident working independently with minimal supervision
- Strong mechanical problem-solving skills
- Reliable, safety-conscious and team-oriented
- Relevant trade qualification highly regarded
