We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Fitter – Level 2 to join our client’s team in Pakenham, VIC. .
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with solid mechanical and fitting experience who can work confidently with tools, equipment and mechanical components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out fitting, assembly and mechanical maintenance work
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and instructions
- Assist with repairs, adjustments and equipment maintenance
- Identify and report mechanical issues
- Work alongside other trades and workshop staff
- Maintain a clean and protected work environment
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
About You:
- Previous fitting, mechanical or workshop experience
- Good understanding of mechanical equipment and tools
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Reliable and physically capable
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant trade qualification or experience is preferred
