Workfast is partnering with a leading contractor managing Melbourne's largest commercial developments. We require experienced Mechanical Services Plumbers for immediate starts across various landmark sites, including hospitals, high-rises, stations, and public infrastructure based in and around Melbourne, Vic. . These are high-paying, reliable, casual positions with a strong pipeline of ongoing work.
What's in it for You:
Base Rate: $78.75 + per hour for the first 36 hours.
Overtime: Penalty rates apply after 36 hours.
Site Allowances: Extra $5.30 to $15.00 per hour depending on the project.
Allowances: Daily travel and fares paid.
Leave & Benefits: Paid Public Holidays + RDOs.
Industry Funds: Full Incolink and Coinvest contributions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Installing, commissioning, and servicing complex HVAC and mechanical piping systems.
- Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and system schematics.
- Delivering high-quality workmanship under tight commercial project timelines.
- Collaborating safely and ethically within a large, established site team.
What You Need:
- Trade Qualification in Mechanical Plumbing.
- Valid Construction Induction OHS Card (White Card).
- High Risk Work Licenses: Working at Heights, Confined Space, and EWP.
- Minimum 2 years of commercial or Tier 1 construction experience.
- Strong commitment to site safety and a proven work ethic.
