Service Engineer – Food & Packaging Machinery | Brisbane

Our client is a global leader in food processing and packaging equipment, looking for a Mechanical Service Engineer to join their Brisbane team. This is a hands-on role covering breakdown response, fault finding and preventative maintenance across a wide variety of high speed packaging and processing machinery.

What you'll do

- Attend breakdown calls and get equipment back up and running fast
- Carry out preventative maintenance and calibrations across a broad range of equipment
- Diagnose faults across mechanical and electrical systems, escalating electrical issues appropriately
- Build strong customer relationships on site
- Report on service visits and support continuous improvement

What you'll bring

- Mechanical fitter trade qualification (or equivalent hands-on experience)




- Restricted electrical licence, or eligibility to obtain one
- Strong fabrication and welding skills, TIG stainless steel experience highly regarded
- Experience on food or packaging equipment highly regarded, but not essential
- Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays
