About The Role
Due to the demand for our highly regarded Amaroo@Home program in Denmark,WA, we are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and committed people who want to make a difference in their community, to join our team as a Support Worker.In this role you will be supporting our consumers in maintaining their health and independence.
We need qualified Support Workers interested in a career in Aged Care.
Surrounded by a supportive team and working in a fun environment. You will be providing an essential service by consumers with their daily living services, welfare and medication visits and helping them access community services by providing them with transport.
To be successful in this position you will be able to demonstrate:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (For Support Worker positions)
- At least 2 years a0 0experience in a similar capacity (desirable)
- Possess a high level of interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, establish priorities and work towards an outcome or objective, unsupervised
- Have a passion and interest in aged care and want to ‘add value’ to the client7s quality of life
- Experience in a similar setting in aged care will be highly regarded
- Hold a current valid driver7s license and road worthy vehicle
- To work in aged care, we require employees to receive annual flu vaccinations and provide proof of current National Police Clearance (no older than 6 months).
