Lead the Future of Peak Training

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Manager - Training to lead our growing Peak Training business unit.

Reporting to the General Manager, Consulting Services, this senior leadership role is responsible for the strategic direction, operational performance, financial sustainability, ongoing growth of our Training business, and transformative initiatives of our Digital Academy and broader training services. You will lead a passionate Training business team, team of trainers, assessors and support staff while driving innovation, compliance excellence and exceptional learner outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a leader who is equally comfortable developing strategy, building high-performing teams, managing commercial outcomes and modernising training delivery through technology and process improvement.

About the Role

As Manager - Training, you will:

- Lead the strategic and operational management of the Peak Training business unit.
- Drive growth, business development and client retention initiatives.
- Deliver key transformation initiatives, including Peak Digital Academy (Learning Management System (LMS)) and Student Management System (SMS) modernisation projects.
- Oversee RTO compliance, quality assurance and governance obligations.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, financial performance and profitability.
- Lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of non-accredited and eLearning programs, and lead establishment of recent accredited training.




- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners and regulatory bodies.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on customer and learner success.
- Ensure exceptional learner experiences and high-quality service delivery.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Extensive senior leadership experience within vocational education, training operations, RTO administration or a similar environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning experience.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship management skills.
- Experience working with Student Management Systems, Learning Management Systems and related business technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in instructional design and adult learning principles, designing and developing eLearning, microlearning and short-course programs.
- Ability to conduct learning needs analyses and translate business requirements into engaging learning solutions.
- Understanding of LMS platforms, SCORM standards and learning evaluation methodologies.
- A strong understanding of the ASQA requirements, the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and VET sector obligations.
- A passion for education, continuous improvement and delivering outstanding learner outcomes.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) and/or relevant tertiary qualifications are highly desirable.
