Jack Abell Betta Home is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to join our team in Mildura, Victoria. This is a full time position based at our retail location, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be the face of our store, helping customers find the products they need whilst creating a welcoming shopping experience that reflects our commitment to excellence in home and consumer products.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting customers warmly and assisting them in locating products throughout the store
- Providing knowledgeable product information and recommendations to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. Full Training of product knowledge provided
- Processing customer transactions at the point of sale using our retail systems accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean, well-organised and visually appealing store workplace
- Restocking shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring products are presented attractively and stock levels are maintained
- Handling customer inquiries and resolving any concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Supporting promotional activities and seasonal displays as directed by management
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth store operations and meet sales targets

What we’re looking for

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for customer service




- Previous retail or customer-facing experience is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
- Neat appearance and professional demeanour at all times
- Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work weekends as required
- A positive attitude, energy and enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Basic product knowledge or an eagerness to develop expertise in home and consumer products
