Genetic Hub Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to join our team in Wagga Wagga, NSW. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions. You will provide essential support to our customers, contributing directly to the efficiency and effectiveness of our organisation. You will work in a collaborative environment where your organisational skills and attention to detail are valued.
Key responsibilities
- Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, postal mail and telephone enquiries
- Preparing and processing administrative documents, reports and presentations
- Maintaining accurate filing systems and databases to ensure information is organised and easily accessible
- Coordinating meeting arrangements, including booking venues, preparing agendas and distributing minutes
- Managing office supplies inventory and placing orders as required
- Providing general administrative support to various departments within the organisation
- Assisting with data entry and record keeping tasks
- Supporting the coordination of events, training sessions or other company activities
- Liaising with external parties,
including clients and service providers
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within an agricultural field
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience in Xero or similar financial software
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Qualified and courteous approach to all interactions with staff and external contacts
- Flexibility and adaptability when responding to changing priorities and deadlines
