About The Practice & The Team

The practice is seeking a new General Practitioner to join its team to add more after-hours GP coverage to meet patient demand.

This inner city suburb is home to mainly working adults with a small number of children and elderly. There is a high proportion of city workers who are well educated, white collar employees, mainly from Australian and European backgrounds. The area also has an established indigenous community. The range of conditions is varied and includes chronic diseases such as asthma and arthritis, heart disease, diabetes management, and mental health as well as the usual Women’s and Men’s Health cases.

- Location: Melbourne is the self-proclaimed cultural capital of Australia. Tourism sites talk about the food and wine, the entertainment,



the history and the shopping. Locals will tell you about the sports – Melbournites are avid AFL and Cricket followers. In this hub of activity, it has some of the best educational facilities in Australia, especially for medical professionals.
