About the role

As National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a busy sales function across online enquiries and call centre activity. You will coach and motivate the existing team of eight. Working closely with the Operations Manager and Marketing Team, your role is to drive sales performance, follow up on leads, improve conversion rates, and create the energy and accountability needed to consistently meet targets. This role suits a hands-on leader who is confident on the phones, commercially sharp, and passionate about building a winning sales culture.





What you’ll be doing

- Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to meet and exceed targets.

- Oversee call centre sales activity, including outbound and inbound sales performance.

- Create energy, urgency, and accountability across the team each day.

- Monitor sales performance, report on results, and identify opportunities to lift conversion rates.

- Develop and implement sales plans, campaigns, and pipeline strategies.

- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support repeat business and referrals.

- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance development of sales staff.

- Maintain accurate records using CRM and sales reporting tools.

What we’re looking for

- Proven experience in sales leadership, ideally within call centre sales, telesales, automotive, or another fast-paced sales environment.

- A strong track record of achieving sales targets and improving team performance.

- High energy, confidence, and a genuine passion for sales.

- Ability to motivate a team, lift activity levels, and create a solid performance culture.

- Confident communication, objection-handling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Commercial mindset with strong planning and problem-solving skills.

- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.

- An interest in cars is preferred and will be highly regarded.

- Current Australian working rights.
