About the Role

This position is suited to applicants who have worked as a Machine Operator, Production Operator, Press Operator, Manufacturing Operator, Injection Moulding Operator, Plastics Operator or Process Worker in a manufacturing environment.

Experience operating rubber moulding presses is highly regarded; however, we welcome applicants with experience operating similar industrial machinery, as training will be provided on our specific equipment.

Machine Operator - Day shift

Key Responsibilities





- Operate rubber moulding presses safely and efficiently.

- Assist with mould changeovers.

- Prepare, cut and mix rubber compounds.

- Read job cards and basic engineering drawings.

- Carry out quality checks during production.

- Maintain a clean and safe work area.

- Work as part of a supportive production team.

About You

- To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience operating manufacturing or production machinery is essential.

- Experience in rubber moulding, plastics, injection moulding, compression moulding, polyurethane manufacturing or similar industrial production environments will be highly regarded.

- A positive level of mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new manufacturing processes.

- A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.

- The ability to read job cards and follow production instructions.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- The ability to regularly lift up to 20 kg and remain on your feet throughout the day.

- Reliable transport to and from work.

- A current forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.
