Dynamoto is an Australian-owned company designing and manufacturing premium motorcycle storage and manoeuvring systems trusted by riders around the world. Based in Sumner, Brisbane, we're a small, passionate team committed to innovation, quality and exceptional customer service. As our business continues to grow globally, we're looking for an organised and proactive Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator to help drive our next stage of growth.
The Opportunity
This is a varied, hands-on part-time role where you'll take ownership of inventory planning, forecasting and purchasing, ensuring our assembly operations have the right components available at the right time. Working closely with the CEO and production team, you'll build robust supplier relationships, maintain inventory accuracy and help improve the systems and processes that support our continued growth.
What You'll Be Doing
Inventory Management & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock integrity.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points.
- Maintain sales forecasts based on actual sales data to ensure inventory aligns with future demand.
- Carry out regular stocktakes and investigate discrepancies.
- Ensure components are available to meet production requirements.
Purchasing
- Coordinate purchasing with approved suppliers.
- Review and optimise the supplier base to improve quality, cost, delivery performance and reliability.
- Raise purchase orders and follow up deliveries.
- Maintain supplier pricing and purchasing records.
- Liaise with approximately 20 suppliers to ensure continuity of supply.
Production Support
- Maintain Bills of Materials and purchasing information.
- Recommend purchase quantities based on stock levels, sales forecasts and supplier lead times.
Dispatch & Administration
- Provide backup support for dispatch during staff leave.
- Operate Shopify, Australia Post eParcel and Parcel Send systems.
- Prepare shipping documentation when required.
- Assist with supplier invoices and general purchasing administration.
About You
- Experience in purchasing, inventory control or a similar coordination role.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using business software.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability.
- Confident communicating with suppliers and colleagues.
- Able to prioritise competing tasks and work independently.
- Quickly learns new systems and technology.
- Enjoys being part of a small, supportive team.
