WorkPac is currently seeking a Tree Maintenance Officer for our client based in Drouin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual with a background in arboriculture, tree maintenance or vegetation management to join a dedicated team responsible for maintaining the safety, health and appearance of the region's trees and public open spaces.

- Annual Salary: $73,288.80 + Super

What You Will Be Doing

- Perform tree maintenance including pruning, trimming and removal works

- Inspect trees and identify hazards, defects and maintenance requirements

- Operate chainsaws, pole saws, chippers and other arboriculture equipment

- Assist with tree planting and establishment programs

- Respond to storm damage and emergency tree maintenance when required

- Maintain parks, streetscapes and public reserves to a high standard





- Complete general labouring duties associated with tree maintenance

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and safe work practices

What Will You Need?

- Previous experience in arboriculture, tree maintenance, vegetation management or a similar role

- Experience operating chainsaws, chippers, pole saws and other arboriculture equipment

- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport

- Medium RigidLicence

- Certificate II in ESI Powerline Vegetation Control (required for working near powerlines)

- White Card

- Certificate III in Arboriculture

- Current Chainsaw competency

- Current High Risk Work Licence – Elevated Work Platform (EWP) over 11 metres

- Strong understanding of protected tree work practices

- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
