About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Leading Hand who takes pride in their work and can confidently lead a crew while delivering exceptional quality.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise roofing crews on site.
- Read plans and set out projects accurately.
- Install premium architectural roofing and wall cladding systems.
- Manufacture and install custom flashings.
- Maintain high workmanship standards.
- Communicate professionally with builders, clients and project managers.
- Ensure WHS compliance and protected work practices.
- Train and mentor apprentices and junior roofers.
- Keep projects running efficiently and on schedule.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years metal roofing experience.
- Proven Leading Hand experience preferred.
- Current Driver’s Licence.
- White Card.
- Working at Heights ticket (preferred).
- Ability to read plans and solve problems on site.
- High attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and leadership skills.
- Reliable and punctual.

We’re looking for motivated apprentices who want to build a long-term career in architectural metal roofing. You’ll work alongside experienced tradesmen on some of Sydney’s best residential projects while learning the trade properly.
What You’ll Learn
- Metal roofing installation.
- Standing Seam and Snap Lock systems.
- Corrugated and Klip-Lok roofing.
- Wall cladding installation.
- Skylight installation.
- Flashing fabrication and installation.
- Box gutters and rainwater systems.
- Reading plans and roof set-out.
- Safe work practices and site management.
