As a Metallurgist/Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our processing plant. This position is central to monitoring, optimising, and continuously improving metallurgical performance while driving process innovation and supporting overall operational excellence.

Your responsibilities include:

- Monitor daily plant performance to ensure recovery, yield, and product quality stay on target
- Identify problems and optimise processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Run and manage test work (lab and pilot scale) to trial new ideas, technologies, and process changes
- Analyse metallurgical data and complete daily metallurgical accounting and reporting
- Troubleshoot process issues and work with operations and maintenance to fix problems quickly




- Provide technical support and training to plant operators to improve process understanding and control
- Develop clear reports on plant performance, test work results, and improvement opportunities
- Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards, following WHS requirements and company procedures
- Work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to support plant goals and continuous improvement
- Drive process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance product quality

ABOUT YOU You are an analytical and proactive Metallurgist/Process Engineer with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, who enjoys working in a plant environment and improving process performance To be successful you will have:

- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related discipline
- Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s license
- Construction White Card
- Robust computer skills, including Office 365, with experience in Power BI or Visual Basic
- Familiarity with SysCAD, Pronto, Aconex, or INX (desirable)
- Knowledge of mineral processing, including flotation, crystallisation, evaporation, or brine chemistry
- Experience with metallurgical accounting and analysing plant performance data
- A solid understanding of safety and environmental requirements




- Familiarity with evaporation pond design and solar salt operating principles
- Knowledge of potash crystallisation processes and techniques
