Mine Technician - Mine Systems

Source: uWorkin The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for maintaining the integrity of all Mine Systems by performing maintenance and repairs of fleet management, voice radios and associated systems hardware.

You Will Be Responsible For

- Installing and maintaining VHF/UHF communications and mobile fleet management system hardware and software
- Installing and commissioning of High Precision Machine Guidance Systems and Fleet Management Systems
- Installing and maintaining point to point microwave and WiFi mesh systems and associated applications
- Preventative maintenance through regular inspections to ensure equipment meets safe working requirements
- Assisting with mining databases and reporting
- Maintaining communication and Fleet Management System parts inventory

About The Candidate This role would suit a technically minded person looking for a new opportunity within a mining setting where no two days are the same.

You Will Also Have

- Experience installing, maintaining and fault finding radio communications equipment and Fleet Management Systems
- Experience in the configuration and programming of communication devices
- An aptitude for learning technical material and are detail orientated
- Understanding of Microwave PTP, PTMP based radio and antennae systems
- The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholder's
